The 120th. Argentine Polo Open Championship was presented with a press conference, that was held at Palermo. The world’s most important polo tournament will start on November 16 and the final is due on December 7.
The packed-attended event featured polo media, sponsors representatives and special guests, and was led by the President of the Argentine Polo Association, Mr. Francisco Dorignac, who highlighted the comeback of Chapaleufu to Palermo, a Trade Mark of Polo.
One member of each participating team was also in attendance: Facundo Pieres (Ellerstina Piaget) who expresed their aim of going for the victory once again, Manuel Pereyra Iraola (representing La Dolfina) Ignacio Novillo Astrada (La Aguada) who will play in Palermo after his collarbone fracture, Fred Mannix (Alegria), Bartolomé Castagnola (La Natividad) «Palermo is a paradise, we will play each game as a final» he said, Lucas James (La Aguada Las Monjitas) and their first year in field 1 , Eduardo Heguy (Chapaleufu) for whom play in Palermo is always a gift and Jaime García Huidobro (Magual) who expressed their wish of giving a surprise with his team.
The event ended with a fabolous cocktail for all the guests on the terrace of El Quincho in a beautiful and sunny day.
