Estancias in the Argentine Countryside
What all estancias have in common is their feeling of remoteness. Many are lone farms adrift in the massive green sea of the pampas. Cattle, sheep and horses are the only immediate signs of life, grazing away nonchalantly in huge fields.
Around Buenos Aires City, you can also wind your way up a short driveway to reach an estancia, and as you draw closer you’ll likely be greeted by the estancia’s dogs.
Once there, you can thoroughly explore the estancia, take a walk through the countryside or horse riding, and investigate the estancia’s pulperia and the colonial main house.
With 42 hectares of vast grounds, Argentina Polo Day has an excellent 5 hectare house surrounded by various species of trees and shrubs. Our Estancia Day is specially designed for you to get familiar with the argentine countryside, culture, traditions and estancias. You are always welcome to visit us any time of the year!
