La Dolfina beat defending champions Ellerstina 16-14 at the Tortugas Country Club to win the Tortugas Open on Saturday.
The scores were tied at 13-13 heading into the seventh and final chukka, but the talented 39-goal quartet of Adolfo Cambiaso, David “Pelon” Stirling, Pablo MacDonough and Juan Martin Nero outscored their bitter rivals by three goals to one in that chukka to claim victory.
