Halcyon Gallery retain Warwickshire Cup
The 22-goal tournament concluded at Cirencester Park on Sunday
HALCYON GALLERY WON the 22-goal Warwickshire Cup for the second consecutive time on Sunday.
The final proved to be repeat of 2012, with Halcyon Gallery coming up against Guy Schwarzenbach’s Black Bears side, and running out the winners by a single goal.
The team of George Hanbury, Ollie Cudmore, Juan Zavaleta and Eduardo Heguy defeated Black Bears, which featured JP Clarkin, Nachi du Plessis and Jack Archibald, 10-9 in the final at Cirencester Park Polo Club.
Just three teams contested the tournament this year, compared to five in 2012.
